About Us
Alwoodley Extended Services Cluster.
We are a group of eight schools who have chosen to work together to deliver the Extended Services Core Offer for our schools and its community. We have formed a Cluster Leadership Group to oversee the work of Extended Services and the Children's Centre. This group has representation from all eight schools, usually the Headteacher or Deputy. There are four governors representing the Catholic schools, the Church of England school, the Community schools and the Jewish school. In addition, we have representation from the Early Years Service, Social Care, the Voluntary Sector, Youth Service and Extended Services, Police, and Area Management Team. We meet currently on a half termly basis and rotate our meetings around the different schools.
Mission
Working with others to best meet the ever changing and varied needs of our community.
Vision
We want our children to be able to say:
-
I know that I matter.
-
I am helped when needed.
-
I am cared for out of school.
-
I know what activities are available for me and my family in the community.
-
My parent or carer knows how and where to get help.
-
I am happy, safe and healthy.
-
I make a contribution to my community.
-
I have a great future ahead.
